Beaver exhibit now on display at Nature Centre

By Medicine Hat News on December 10, 2021.

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program’s beaver exhibit is on display at the Nature Centre through Dec. 21, and on Dec. 18 local children are invited to take part in an interactive Bust Little Beavers program.

“This program will explore the fascinating features and activities of the beaver, and will include an adventure into the park in search of evidence of beaver activity,” reads a release from the Interpretive Program. “This hands-on program will have both an indoor and outdoor component. Participants should bring a mask for the indoor component, and appropriate warm clothing for the outdoor component. The program is approximately 40 minutes in length.”

The program is for an ideal age range of 5-10, and requires registration as well as a minimum donation of $5 to attend.

For more information about the event, including how to register for a time slot, call the Nature Line at 403-529-6225 or visit natureline.info or Police Point Park’s social media pages.
