The annual Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Farmer’s Christmas Market will be taking place on Friday and Saturday.

“This is our 24th year,” farmer’s market and trade show co-ordinator Doreen Gunderson told the News. “We didn’t have one last year (due to COVID-19), so we’re excited to be back at it this year … The community has supported us through our market seasons in these times with COVID, so it’s very special they come back and support us again for the Christmas market.”

“It’ll include quite a few vendors from our farmer’s market season as well as additional (vendors),” Gunderson said. “There’s wine, baking, wooden crafts, coffee, bath products – all kinds of things for Christmas presents.”

The market will run from 12-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $2, while children 12 and under get in free. The Restriction Exemptions Program will be in place.
