Remembrance Day ceremony schedule for Medicine Hat

Those wishing to join the march from the Esplanade to the Cenotaph at Veterans Memorial Park as part of Thursday’s Remembrance Day ceremony will need to be ready at the Esplanade for 10:30 a.m.

A city transit bus will also be available for anyone who cannot walk to Veterans Memorial Park, with pick-up at the Legion at 10:20 a.m.

The Service of Remembrance will officially get underway at 11 a.m., followed by the laying of wreaths by dignitaries and the singing of the royal anthem.

Laying of wreaths will be opened to the public at the end of the ceremony.

Anyone attending the ceremony or march is asked to practice social distancing.
