Correction: Local club misidentified

The News incorrectly identified a group that may be affected by a City of Medicine Hat proposal to develop an industrial park on city-owned land north of the Box Springs Business Park.

The northern third of the six quarter-section parcel is occupied by five groups that lease land from the city and have facilities in what is described as a future development phase.

That includes the Medicine Hat Rifle and Revolver Club, which was misidentified as the Medicine Hat Clay Target Shooting club in Friday’s edition. The latter club owns its own land north and east of the site in question.
