The annual autumn luncheon by the Chamber of Commerce, held Nov. 9, will again be hosted remotely in order to observe pandemic protocols Along with Medicine Hat’s new mayor, the event will feature Redcliff Mayor Dwight Kilpatrick, Cypress County’s chief administrator Tarolyn Aaserud, as well as Lt. Col. Stephen Burke, who became the commander of CFB Suffield in July. Member of Parliament Glen Motz, the area’s MLAs Michaela Frey (formerly Glasgo) and Drew Barnes are also expected to attend. Attendees are required to register for the online, noon-hour event through the Chamber’s website (medicinehatchamber.com). Without an in-person meal available, attendees are asked to patronize a list of local restaurants found on the registration page for take-out or delivery fare. 7
