https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Prairie fires revealing ancient campsites and stone monuments will be the subject of an online presentation held next week by the Southeastern Alberta Archeological Society. The Oct. 20 event will feature Josh Chase, a district archeologist with the Bureau of Land Management in Montana, who will discuss several recently discovered sites in the Milk River region of the state. They feature evidence of bison harvest and habitation over several eras. His presentation will follow the 7 p.m. meeting of the society. Members will be automatically linked into the online presentation, but any one wishing to attend may do so at no charge.
