Garage sale fundraiser for local bunny rescue

Bunny Run Rabbit Rescue, a Medicine Hat non-profit organization that captures and cares for abandoned domesticated rabbits, is having a garage sale fundraiser Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The sale will take place at 29 Elliot St. and will feature a wide variety of items for sale.

The proceeds will be used to support daily operations at Bunny Run Rabbit Rescue; this includes covering vet bills and purchasing food, litter and other necessities for the approximately 50 bunnies that are currently awaiting adoption. If you are considering adoption, several bunnies will be in attendance at tomorrow’s event.

Event organizers are also accepting donations of empty cans or bottles for their ‘Bottles for Bunnies’ program.
