Justserve.org offers dozens of local volunteer opportunities

Autumn can be a busy time, but a local group that provides a volunteering database is asking Hatters to plan ahead and get involved in the community.

Justserve.org (“Just Serve”) was created by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a non-political, non-denominational venue to boost volunteerism across North America.

A page specific to Medicine Hat was created in 2019, and listings for it numbered 57 this week.

They call for everything from youth leaders to work fundraising bingos, volunteer meal prep and delivery drivers, to at-home online and administrative support.

Links of the website provide informations about the local organizations, which should be contacted directly.

Organizations and efforts searching for volunteers can also place information on the site.
