Gaze at a meteor shower on a walk with the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program

The sky will be falling Wednesday night, and the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is inviting all nature-loving star gazers to sign up for a Perseids meteor shower walk. The event takes place from 10-11 p.m. Wednesday night at the Echo Dale viewpoint. “We hope to catch a glimpse of these meteors, which peak on August 11-12,” reads a release from the Interpretive Program. “We recommend bringing a blanket or chair to sit on, as we will leisurely walk and sit down to watch the meteors and stars.” Anyone looking to register for the walk can call the Nature Line at 403-529-6225.
