A man wanted for breaking his parole conditions has been arrested on the Siksika Nation and been charged with further offences, RCMP in Gleichen said Tuesday.

Jason Lee Nathan Cutter was scheduled to appear in Siksika Provincial Court on Thursday after he was arrested last weekend following a tip from the public.

In early June, Mounties issued a warrant for Cutter, 28, for being unlawfully at large by failing to abide by his release conditions following a four-year prison term for armed robbery.

A release says he was arrested and remanded in custody on July 11.

Additional charges include flight from police, resisting arrest, possessing stolen property over $5,000, and having a weapon for a dangerous purpose, alongside several driving-related offences.
