Unnamed Hatter faces multiple charges after fatal rollover in Sask.

A Medicine Hat man has been charged after a deadly rollover accident near Kindersley, Sask., late Sunday night.

The unnamed 26-year-old man was reportedly driving a vehicle filled with eight occupants on grid roads when it rolled “multiple times” near Highway 7 east of Kindersley at 11:40 p.m. on July 11.

One passenger, a 25-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene, and two others were transported via air ambulance to hospital. Five people went by ground ambulance to health facilities but are in unknown condition.

Investigating RCMP officers from the Kindersley Detachment charged the driver will one count each of impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death. He also faces five counts each of impaired driving causing bodily harm and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

His next court date is set for Sept. 21 in Kindersley.
