Pair of local elementary schools add one COVID-19 case each to active total

Elm Street School and Ken Sauer School are both on alert as Alberta Health Services has identified an additional positive case of COVID-19 at each school, according to releases on the Medicine Hat Public School Division’s website.

The case announced at Elm Street School on Monday is the fourth connected to the school, while the new case at Ken Sauer School is its third.

MHPSD says it is confident those not directed to quarantine can go about their daily lives while online learning continues at schools across the province.

The MHPSD says they will continue updating the division’s COVID-19 cases throughout the online learning period.
