June’s chuckwagon races cancelled

The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede is cancelling its current chuckwagon races scheduled for June 17-20.

The World Chuckwagon Association races are to be rescheduled and the Chuckwagon committee and the WPCA are working together to reschedule the races this year.

“The situation we find ourselves in is disappointing and we are doing our best to be able to host safe and profitable events in the future,” reads a release. “We are proud of Western Heritage and are optimistic that we will be back with the exciting event in the future.”

Starting May 13, ticket holders can contact the Stampede office for a refund.
