Pickup service resumes at public library after short hiatus

By Medicine Hat News on May 6, 2021.

After a brief pause, the Medicine Hat Public Library will be resuming its popular no-contact pickup service today.

The library stopped the service temporarily earlier this week after a staff member contracted COVID-19.

But library officials say due to restrictions on the number of staff in the building and the services health protocols, they don’t believe the public is at risk.

For the next two weeks, pickup appointments will be available on a reduced basis from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those taking part in the program who had an appointment for last Tuesday, Wednesday or on Saturday should have received a rebooked appointment.
