Catholic division dealing with active COVID cases at two schools

By Medicine Hat News on April 24, 2021.

Alberta Health Services identified three cases of COVID-19 at Notre Dame Academy on Thursday and an additional case at St. Francis Xavier School.

The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education posted both statements on its website and say all close contacts of the positive cases have been identified and contacted directly to quarantine.

The MHCBE says AHS has given the OK for both schools to remain open and for unaffected classes to continue.

Custodial teams have completed an enhanced cleaning, focusing on areas where the positive cases were present and all high touch points and surface areas.
