Truck driver dead after head-on collision

A semi-truck driver is dead after a head-on collision between two transport trucks near Gleichen on Tuesday evening. The crash happened at 7:10 p.m. on Highway 901, between the Trans-Canada Highway and Highway 24, north of Carseland. RCMP say they discovered one driver of a truck dead at the scene while the other was treated by emergency medial responders. The secondary highway was closed in both directions for several hours. 3-2
