Police release name of suspect wanted in domestic assault, stolen truck

By Medicine Hat News on March 24, 2021.

Police are searching for a Medicine Hat man with a history of violent behaviour and fleeing from cops.

Gerald Mohr has been named the suspect in an alleged domestic violence incident on March 18, at which point a truck was stolen and driven off by a man.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact police at 403-529-8481, and not approach him, according to a release.

Mohr, 46, stands 5-foot-10 and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair, and was seen driving a grey 2004 Dodge Ram with Alberta plate CGJ-1085.

He faces charges of common assault and theft over $5,000, as well as breaching court conditions.

This summer, Mohr was arrested in Brooks by Mounties who say he drove a stolen truck across fields during a pursuit, knocking down fences and damaging irrigation equipment.
