World Water Day falls on Monday

Local environmentalist groups are inviting the public to observe World Water Day while they work at their new “Adopt a Pond” project on Saturday and announce new projects.

Members of the Grassland Naturalists and the Southeast Alberta WaterShed Alliance will be onsite at Connaught Pond beginning at 10 a.m. for a general clean up.

Resilient South East Alberta and several other groups will take part and may be seen at ponds and water bodies throughout the city over the weekend.
