Hatter ‘seriously injured’ in Brier Park workplace incident

Provincial workplace safety inspectors are investigating after a Medicine Hat worker’s leg was crushed on Monday.

Occupational Health and Safety officials confirmed to the News on Tuesday that they were called after the incident in the Brier Park Industrial area one day earlier.

A worker was “seriously injured” after an I-beam fell off a forklift, according to the OHS spokesperson, but no other details were released.
