Hidden Valley Ski Resort open with COVID restrictions in place

Skiers and snowboarders are finally able to hit the slopes at Hidden Valley, though there are restrictions as a result of COVID-19.

The Elkwater-based hill will be limited to 400 participants per day, and tickets must be purchased in advance.

The lodge will only be open for bathroom use, while the cafÃ© and lounge are restricted to take-out only, with one member per family permitted to pick up food orders.

Capacity inside the resort’s rental building is limited to 15 per cent, and as a result delays should be expected.

Face coverings are mandatory in buildings, while anyone experiencing symptoms is asked to stay home and will receive a refund.

There is a two-week advance booking window for passes. Lessons are still available on a discounted private basis.
