The local chapter of Make A Wish was able to make one young Hatter’s Christmas this past weekend.

Make A Wish was able to secure 14-year-old Daniel Bachmeier a Playstation 5, a 55 inch TV, games, speakers, a headset and more from the foundation.

Bachmeier lives with Cerebral Palsy and originally made a wish to see Monster Truck Jam finals in the U.S. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all travel wishes have been postponed by the organization.

“He’s a miracle child and proof that miracles happen,” said Daniel’s mother, Liz, last year. “He was born three months premature and under one-and-a-half pounds and I had troubles with the pregnancy.

“I was airlifted to the hospital and because of high blood pressure I ended up having him shortly after.”

Make A Wish says it is happy to bring Daniel his wish.
