Get on your Holiday mail as limitations are already in effect

By Medicine Hat News on November 25, 2020.

It is exactly one month to Christmas and if you have cards, letters or packages to mail through Canada Post, the options are already limited.

International cards and letters still have a chance of reaching their destination before Christmas, depending on the country you are mailing to and whether your item is sent priority mail, xpresspost or expedited. Canada Post has a listing of mail restrictions that apply to some locations during the pandemic.

Cards and letters within Canada should be mailed before Dec. 18, and locally by Dec. 21 if you want them to have a chance of reaching their destination before Christmas, according to Canada Post’s website.

If you are helping someone write a letter to Santa, this should be posted by Dec. 10 if you would like a reply from the North Pole, says Canada Post.
