The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede is hosting a fan favourite next week.
The annual Christmas Farmers Market begins Nov. 13 and runs until end of day on Nov. 14. The market runs from 1-8 p.m. on the Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a $2 admission fee for people over 12 years old.
“We have 70 vendors this year,” said market co-ordinator Doreen Gunderson. “It’ll be set up much like the regular markets we held this summer.
“We’re going to be following Alberta Health guidelines and have hand washing stations set up.”
Masks are not mandatory at the market, but are suggested.
There will be a lot of Christmas items offered, including homemade goods and food. The market will also feature popular vendors from the summer markets.
The market will feature mostly local vendors, as well as ones from out of town.
It will be spread over three buildings to allow for physical distancing.
