Eagles Nest Ranch is inviting people down to its facilities Saturday for an open house.
The organization has been running for years and is hoping to reach out to people who may have never visited its grounds at Elkwater.
“As we gear up for the winter and the New Year, we’re looking to bring a wider awareness to Eagles Nest Ranch and the facilities that we have,” said executive director Patricia Talbott. “Our facilities are absolutely beautiful and we want to get people down here to see what we’re all about.
“We want people in Medicine Hat to get involved with our ministry and to come see us.
“There’s so much here to be enjoyed.”
Talbott mentioned cabins and hiking space as two big attractions ENR has to offer.
“The seclusion at the ranch is amazing,” she said. “People can come hiking and spend family time, and maybe to a small weekend retreat to recharge themselves and unplug from our lives.
“During the spring and summer we have a ton of outdoor activities as well.”
The open house is offering tours of the facilities from noon to 2 p.m. At 3 p.m. the event will close with a worship from ENR alumni Ben Rogers.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place at the open house and at the worship. People are encouraged to wear masks, and must physically distance from those outside of their cohorts when possible.
People are being asked to pre-register for the open house by going to http://www.enropenhouse.eventbrite.ca.
“People can register for either, or both times,” said Talbott. “We just want to make sure we know how many people are coming to see us on Saturday.”
