A man who was found asleep in what police allege was a break-in was also in possession of an automated bank machine, officials with the Redcliff detachment of the RCMP said Thursday. Authorities are now attempting to determine where the ATM came from after they found it in a related search. Police say they were called to a residence off Township Road 124 in Cypress County shortly after 1 p.m. on Oct. 11. Inside they found a man they believe had broken in. Danny Snyder, 36, of Medicine Hat, is charged with breaking and entering a residence, two counts of possessing stolen property valued at less than $5,000, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possessing break-in tools. He made his first appearance in Medicine Hat Provincial Court on Thursday. Police say the matter of the instant teller, which contained “a significant amount of cash” is still under investigation. 7
