AHS looking for new three-year members of the Palliser Triangle Health Advisory Council

By Medicine Hat News on October 8, 2020.

Alberta Health Services is recruiting volunteers to be part of the Palliser Triangle Health Advisory Council.

Those serving on the council have an opportunity to give a local perspective on health care services.

Anyone interested needs to be more than 18 years of age, be passionate about health care services and eager to engage in the community to learn where improvements can be made. They would “participate in dialogue” with AHS for creative solutions.

Members are appointed for a three-year term and report to the AHS board of directors. They meet up to four times a year with AHS zone leadership to learn of AHS initiatives and discuss information gathered from the community about health care priorities that impact them.

You can submit an expression of interest form, available online at ahs.ca/advisorycouncils.

For additional information call 1-877-275-8830, or email community.engagement@ahs.ca.

Deadline for submissions is Oct. 12.
