A new COVID test swabbing centre has been established in Redcliff, says Alberta Health Services. The building is located at 2400 S. Highway Drive and will be used starting Monday. It is only for people who have been given an appointment for a test after they have been in contact with AHS. The new Redcliff site will allow for two lanes of traffic to move through the facility for testing and replaces the testing that was being done at the Community Health Centre on Dunmore Road, said an AHS spokesperson. The new facility will allow for shelter for patients and staff in the upcoming winter months. The testing site is only for those with appointments, which can be booked online at https://myhealth.alberta.ca/Journey/COVID-19/ or by calling 811. Until Oct. 5 AHS appointments for COVID-19 tests will still be handled at the Dunmore Road facility when an appointment has been scheduled through AHS. 6
