Cowboy Poetry at Kin Coulee on Sunday

Stories and music of cowboy traditions will be celebrated in Medicine Hat on Sunday with a Cowboy Poetry gathering at Kin Coulee Park.

The program begins at 12:30 p.m. in the park with live entertainment, while food trucks will be on hand from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The event will feature musician Doc Mehl and poet Doris Daley, along with local presenters Jessica Schnell, Kimberley Straub and Jen Zollner.

There is no charge to attend the event that is presented by the Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation in sponsorship from the Medicine Hat Public Library.

All are asked to observe physical distance guidelines and practice good hygiene.
