Finlay Bridge sidewalk getting repair

The sidewalk along Finlay Bridge will be closed to pedestrian traffic for two days starting Thursday for minor repair work.

The bridge itself has been shut to motorists since June as the decking is removed and concrete installed on the 110-year-old span.

Starting Thursday, both walkways on the west and east side of the traffic lanes will be closed until 5 p.m. on Friday.

The entire project is scheduled to be complete at the end of September.
