Forty Mile to hand out masks starting June 11

Plans to distribute masks in rural areas of County of Forty Mile have been announced.

The county will be dispersing masks provided by Alberta Health at five locations from June 11-16, then at county and municipal buildings thereafter.

Pickup locations and times are as follows:

– Bow Island and northern county residents, Thursday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Multiplex in Bow Island;

– Foremost and southern county residents, Friday, June 12, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Foremost Community Hall;

– Burdett and area residents, Monday, June 15, 9 a.m. to noon, at the Burdett post office;

– Etzikom and area residents, Monday, June 15, 1 to 3 p.m. at the community mailbox in the hamlet;

– Manyberries, Orion and area residents, Tuesday, June 16, 9 a.m to noon, at the community mailboxes at Manyberries.

After June 16 masks can be picked up at the County of Forty Mile Office, Bow Island Town Hall, the Bow Island CRC Office (at 141 Fifth Ave. W.), or the Foremost provincial building.
