Schuler School among those getting playground upgrades with new funding

A new playground and equipment at Schuler School is among 26 across Alberta that will receive grant money from Alberta Education that was announced on Tuesday. In total, $5 million will go toward playgrounds at schools that were rebuilt or upgraded on their original sites or were in a 2013 batch of new schools that hadn’t received similar grants. The Prairie Rose School Division will receive $132,000 from the grant envelop that was part of previously approved capital spending plan. A total of 26 projects in 18 school divisions received up to $250,000. 4-3
