Today REDI Enterprises is making a special effort to thank their frontline staff in group homes. On Saturday at 2 p.m. staff and community members will be holding a drive-by that will commence at REDI’s offices on Allowance Avenue. REDI operates 11 residences in Medicine Hat and five in Brooks. It provides 24/7 in-home support to about 50 people who have various disabilities and special needs. It takes 100 frontline staff to provide this essential service. With the COVID-19 pandemic, these frontline workers have been specially challenged to provide supports and ensure residents are kept safe and healthy, said Craig Wood, executive director. REDI Enterprises Society is a non-profit organization that has been providing supports to people with disabilities in Medicine Hat and southeast Alberta since 1952. 6
