Online complaint form available should you see someone not self-isolating

If you observe someone not following the recommendations for self-isolating you can report the situation to Alberta Health Services using an online complaint form.

“Public Health Inspectors will inspect sites that have been brought to their attention and educate about the orders or enforce them as required,” said Tom McMillan spokesperson for Alberta Health.

“After receiving a complaint, health inspectors will contact the business to address the issues. This will be looking for voluntary compliance. If that does not occur, AHS can contact law enforcement to enforce the Public Health Act. Health inspectors can also engage other regulatory bodies, such as Service Alberta, which could result in other regulatory and enforcement actions.”
