MHC, Miywasin hosting Journey Towards Healing from March 23-27

Medicine Hat College is hosting the sixth annual Journey Towards Healing and Reconciliation Conference March 23-27 in collaboration with the Miywasin Friendship Centre.

The event will offer Indigenous cultural ceremonies, learning sessions, lectures and more, including a fireside chat on reconciliation with the Honourable Senator Murray Sinclair on March 26 at 1 p.m.

Other highlights include the Red Dress Project with drum and hoop dancer Sandra Lamouche on March 23, the Walk for Reconciliation on March 24, lectures on healing through art and decolonization on the 25th and a full day of Metis history on the 26th.

Admission is free but attendees must register in advance for each event they plan on attending.
