NDP budget meeting Oct. 1 in Hat

A date and place for an alternative provincial budget discussions in Medicine Hat has been set by the Alberta New Democrats.

Medicine Hat was listed as one of eight locations where the party would discuss the provincial budget expected later this month.

Finalized details were publicized Thursday.

The meeting will be held Oct. 1 in the Cutbanks Room at the Esplanade Arts and Heritage Centre. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. ahead of a 7 p.m. start. Attendees are asked to register at albertandpcaucus.ca.

It is expected the party finance critic Shannon Phillips, the MLA for Lethbridge West, will lead the discussion.
