MH Rifle and Revolver Club board member charged with stealing $36,000 from org

A board member of the Medicine Hat Rifle and Revolver Club has been arrested after allegedly stealing $36,000 from the organization. According to a brief news release from the Medicine Hat Police Service’s major crimes unit, the theft is believed to be limited to just that one organization. Christa Keating, 58, has been charged with one count of theft over $5,000 and is scheduled to appear in provincial court Sept. 24. She is no longer listed on the club’s website as a member of the board of directors. 5-4
