Police Point Park looking to get families outside this weekend

Police Point Park is hosting a couple events this weekend with the hopes of getting families outdoors and having fun. The first event is based around rock painting and is running from 10 a.m. To noon at the park. The park will cover supplies for the event. After painting the rocks people are welcome to keep them or hide them in different parks around the city for other people to find. Afternoon walk Hatters are also invited to Police Point Saturday for a walk through the park guided by a an insect expert. The walk will take the group through the park to learn about butterflies and bumblebees that live in the area. People are asked to meet at the Nature Centre at 2 p.m. 9-8
