The two male suspects in the landfill break-and-enter the morning of Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

Bow Island RCMP have opened an investigation into a break and enter at the landfill after two males in their 20s wearing black hoodies broke into the office 7 a.m. May 15.

Both males entered the landfill and gained access to the office trailer and rummaged through the area but did not take anything.

It was upon the arrival of a landfill employee that the two male suspects fled.

Additionally, the employee noticed a dark coloured welding truck with a female driver at the wheel, who was approached by the landfill employee to ask if she needed anything. Her response was that she was trying to get her cell phone to work and needed a charger.

The female driver was provided by the employee with a charger, but drove off and never returned.

The female was described as a 25-year-old and the truck as a black Ford with a blue Millar Welder in the box.

If you have any information regarding this break and enter or any other incidents, contact the Bow Island RCMP at 403-545-2784, or your local police.
