Local science author giving talk at library

The local author of “Somethink for Everyone”, John Cherwonogrodzky, will be launching his book with a reading on May 9 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Medicine Hat Public Library in the Legion Room. The book includes 545 concepts organized into 23 topics, such as physics, Star Trek technologies, microbiology, ethics, religion and more. Cherwonogrodzky’s style of presentation was once described by a Camp Borden Colonel as a mix of Gandhi and Bugs Bunny. Cherwonogrodzky will give a short summary of his background at the start of the evening followed by five-minute readings. There will also be a question-and-answer and debate period, followed by refreshments. Copies of “Somethink for Everyone” will be available for purchase for $20. 6-5
