Calgary radio show will broadcast from Medicine Hat on Thursday afternoon

A Calgary drive-home radio show will emanate from downtown Medicine Hat on Thursday. CBC radio’s “the Homestretch” will broadcast live from Inspire Cafe, on the 600 Block of Second Street on March 21, it was announced Friday on the show’s website. Personalities Doug Dirks, Jenny Howe and Dave Waddell be on scene between 3 and 6 p.m. for a show that promises to delve into local history and current happenings. A release states that discussion is planned with guests Mayor Ted Clugston, officials with Hut 8 Cryptocurrency, as well as Inspire owners Louise Vernal and Maureen Newton, and others. Singer-songwriter Kyle Church will perform. 6-5
