Medicine Hat News

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is holding a Christmas Bird Count Sunday and the group is hoping to get Hatters involved.

Every year citizen scientists across North America take part, making it the longest running wildlife survey in the world.

The Interpretive Program is hoping to get as many people involved as possible, but is asking that participants be able to identify bird species to take part.

Anyone interested in taking part needs to touch base with the Nature Centre at Police Point Park to participate.

Final tallies will be phoned or emailed to the centre.

To participate call 403-529-6225.
