Swift Current authorities seize $66K in drugs in Nov. 15 bust

Mounties in Swift Current say they’ve confiscated $66,000 in drugs as part of raids this month.

Municipal police in that city, RCMP and other police organizations searched a home on the 1500 block Winnie Street E on Nov. 15, allegedly seizing large quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine, along with weapons and cash.

Samantha Kallechy, 29, was charged with single counts of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of prohibited weapons and the proceeds of crime.

She was scheduled to appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on Nov. 16.
