Business Men’s Fellowship dinner welcomes gospel-singing sisters

Gospel music by The Pilkey Sisters is on the agenda for the Business Men’s Fellowship buffet supper on July 19, and everyone is welcome to attend.

The event takes place at Medicine Hat Lodge at 6 p.m. The deadline for purchase of tickets, $20 each, is July 15. Call 403-529-5267.

The Pilkey Sisters are from Abbotsford, B.C., and have been singing southern gospel music since they were a little more than toddlers. They say it is their loyalty to each other, a deep passion for music and a strong Christian faith that has kept them together through the years.

They are known for a unique blend of family harmony and a tightly-knit sound.

An offering will be taken at the event to help cover the band’s expenses.
