Hat woman charged after break in

Mounties have charged a Medicine Hat women with an April break-in in central Alberta and say that her arrest has lead to the recovery of a large amount of stolen property.

RCMP in Stettler investigated a residential break and enter at a community near Buffalo Lake early last month, and say evidence found there linked them to the Hat resident.

Working with investigators from Red Deer and the Medicine Hat Police Service, warrants were issued and Danielle Elander, 26, was arrested on Friday in Leduc.

A release from the RCMP states authorities in Medicine Hat have also charged the woman with possession of stolen property.
