Special Areas Board reappoints chair

Medicine Hat News Jordon Christianson has been reappointed chair of the Special Areas Board, according to the latest list of orders in council for the provincial cabinet. The announcement, made Tuesday, sees Christianson reappointed to the board that advises government on operating the large, sparsely populated special municipalities in east central Alberta. His term will conclude Sept. 14, 2021. Three others were appointed to the board, which is based in Hanna. Brent Horner and Daryl Swenson were reappointed to terms expiring April 30, 2020. New member Doug Noble will also serve on the board until that time. 6-5
