One worker sent to hospital after incident at CF Industries

One worker was transported to hospital early Monday evening after an incident at the CF Industries nitrogen complex.
The company confirmed later Monday that the incident at about 5:20 p.m. involved an onsite boiler, with the area then secured before any off-site issues occurred.
All individuals who were onsite at the time have been accounted for, with the one employee being transferred by EMS to Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
Emergency crews were called in, including the MHPS, and government officials have been notified of the incident.
CF Industries says it will provide additional updates as appropriate.
