The city says vehicular access into Strathcona Island Park will be restricted to emergency vehicles only on Monday.

City crews will be completing a test installation of the demountable barrier system, which is an imperative part of the overland flow protection system for the Flats community.

With this closure, vehicular access to the boat launch, Lovell McDonnell Field, Heritage Pavilion and Strathcona Island playground will not be available to the public.
