Medicine Hat brothers caught in Lethbridge drug bust

Two Medicine Hat brothers have been charged following a drug bust in Lethbridge that police say took nearly $50,000 worth of cocaine of the streets.

ALERT Lethbridge’s organized crime and gang team seized 474 grams of cocaine, 198 grams of cocaine buffing agent (used to dilute drugs) and drug trafficking paraphernalia on Lwethbridge’s west side on March 27. A .32-calibre handgun and ammunition were also seized.

Justin Reid, 27, of Lethbridge, was arrested and is charged with numerous possession and firearms related charges.

Reid’s arrest led to the identification and arrest of two associates from Medicine Hat. Arthur Cranston, 58, and Guy Cranston, 56, are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
