‘Canada’s Worst Driver’ looking for nominees

By Medicine Hat News on March 8, 2018.

Is your rearview mirror is a constant scene of yelling motorists and dumbfounded stares, you have a long list of accidents (they weren’t your fault of course) and you can’t perform a simple three-point turn? You can turn that into nation-wide infamy.

The popular Discovery Canada TV series “Canada’s Worst Driver” is back for season 14 and calling on Medicine Hat for nominations. Be warned though that if your nominee is on the show you’ll be along for ride in the shotgun seat. Nominations can be made at http://www.canadasworstdriver.ca until March 31. People chosen will be flown to Toronto to go through training at the driver rehabilitation centre. Shooting takes place this summer

While the series provides many cringe-inducing moments of bad drivers behind the wheel, the actual goal is to rehabilitate bad drivers and make the streets safer for everyone.

Says host Andrew Younghusband: “We’ve been at this for over a decade, but there’s no slowing down. There’s a whole new generation of drivers taking over city streets, some were just four years old when the show first hit the airways, now they’re making nominations or looking for training themselves! We’re here to help and I can truly say – we have!”

Medicine Hat’s Ashley Van Ham won(?) the fourth season of “Canada’s Worst Driver.
