Parental info session offered at library

Medicine Hat News Giving families the necessary tools to cope with the challenges of life and recover from difficult times is the topic for an information session on March 14 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Honor Currie Room at the Medicine Hat Public Library. Alberta Health Services’ Addiction and Mental Health team is offering this parent information session on how to enhance the family’s sense of togetherness and enhance the family unit and bond. It will be an opportunity to learn about protective factors, risk factors and what to have in place to help prevent addiction and mental health struggles.
